Responsible for supporting the Production Planning and Dispatch Manager with the organisation and coordination of all CMT factories and related duties as outlined below
Responsibilities
Responsible for organising all CMT factories including sourcing/locating new factories on an ongoing basis as required
Monitor Health and Safety Regulations
Visit CMT factories to keep abreast of progress and maintain a relationship with management at these factories as required
Set up appointments to discuss product styling availability and cost Always negotiate the best price
Responsible for booking all styles with factories and keeping accurate updated schedules
Arrange preproduction samples to be made at CMTs
Receive contracts and give to Production Clerk
Arrange for cut work trims and all components to be delivered to various CMTs
Assisting CMTs with all queries Escalate to relevant coordinators/merchandisers to be resolved
Following up on outwork bring in samples for approvals
Fabric Recons with Cutters
Running from CMTs to Office for speedy solutions
Check and record the daily output from each factory daily
Resolve garment shortages at CMTs
Escalating all outofline situations to Planning and Dispatch Manager
Experience/ Requirements
Matric
Relevant Diploma in Production Management would be advantageous
Drivers License
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in the CMT environment as a production controller
Remuneration Market related
