PRODUCTION CONTROLLER

Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTEMENT of NAVFAC NORTHWEST. Responsibilities You will observe production operations to determine if schedules are being followed. You will interpret technical documentation for repair, maintenance, or alteration projects to monitor progress of work flow. You will analyze changes in production or program techniques to implement corrective actions to repair processes. You will discuss production information with project members to coordinate the master plan for completion of projects. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-11:Outside applicants claiming VEOA, Military Spouse under EO 13473, Disability, and Interchange Eligibles (i.e., those without current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service) must meet specialized experience requirements equivalent to the GS-10 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Planning, scheduling, fund tracking and resource leveling in support of facilities construction, maintenance and repair projects. 2) Developing, preparing and reviewing reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts for the use of production planning and control. 3) Monitoring work status to prioritize various processes governing production operations and to ascertain fund availability, etc. 4) Identifying and recommending alternative courses of action when routine methods are inadequate. Applicants who are current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service employees must meet specialized experience requirements equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Planning, scheduling, fund tracking and resource leveling in support of facilities construction, maintenance and repair projects. 2) Developing, preparing and reviewing reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts for the use of production planning and control. 3) Monitoring status of work, validating data, and coordinating completion of supporting actions. FOR GS-09:Outside applicants claiming VEOA, Military Spouse under EO 13473, Disability, and Interchange Eligibles (i.e., those without current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service) must meet specialized experience requirements equivalent to the A. GS-08 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Reviewing and approving requests for construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, placement and other services. 2) Coordinating projects involving construction, repair, renovation, and placement worked performed by skilled trade personnel. 3) Monitor estimated versus actual job progress and completion, materials status, authorizes variances and equipment utilization to assist with future planning. Applicants who are current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service employees must meet specialized experience requirements equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Reviewing and approving requests for construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, placement and other services. 2) Monitoring estimated versus actual job progress and completion, materials status, authorizes variances and equipment utilization to assist with future planning.
