Production Control Team Leader

Production Control Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing shift of technicians within the PCS workshop, reporting into the Operations Lead.

As a Production Control Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

Ability to lead a team effectively and resolve technical and personal challenges encountered on the shop floorPlan and organise workshop activities to ensure business priorities are met Ability to adjust and coordinate workshop priorities at short notice to meet customer and business needsCollaborating with other departments/functions within the Montrose COE as well as building relationships with the Controls COE at NailseaCarry out maintenance and repair of technical, mechanical and electrical equipment / production equipment before and after shipment offshoreCreating a positive working environment and atmosphere to allow the team to achieve their targetsPromote and improve HSE culture on the shop floor Drive a continuous improvement mindset across the whole team to ensure Quality Metrics are reviewed and actions implemented to improve this. Strong knowledge of Subsea Controls Systems, including software / electrical expertiseWork closely with Software engineers to diagnose and resolve software issuesProven experience of both mechanical and electrical as a technician or similarWork closely with Ops Lead to ensure shop floor targets are defined and achieved on a daily / weekly basisProvide cover for Ops Lead when they are on leaveStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers and closely with customers whilst on siteWork closely with QC to ensure documentation is signed off and procedures are correctly followed
