Working here you’ll be part of a family that works together to make a difference and enhance the lives of millions worldwide. **What You’ll Work On** + Ensure that assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes. + Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and these areas of the plant according to job standards. + Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and food processing facilities. + Operate specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc. to perform functions of job. + Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures. + Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facility. + Removal of trash/garbage for the facility; mopping as needed, cleaning of floor drains and any exterior areas requiring attention. + Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation. + Maintain all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, instructions., cleaning equipment and tools. + May be asked to work in other areas as needed, if trained. You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. **Pay and Shift** The hourly rate for this position is $21/hour.
