Production Associate - 2nd Shift
Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an energetic and motivated production associate to join our lamination team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling probes for our ultrasound business. They will join a dynamic team that is instrumental in producing our ultrasound probes at our Phoenix site that benefit patients globally.

Responsibilities may include manufacturing, and assembly of products.

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

Follows work procedures and schematics including complex instructions regarding duties to be performed.

Performs manufacturing/assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.

Demonstrated ability to perform all Production I responsibilities.

Perform mid-level manufacturing/assembly/refurbishment operations

Works independently and performs mid-level rework and testing's when required

Maintains daily production output.

Check/review final product paperwork

Trained on all functions on the assigned line or cross trained in multiple areas

Identify, report, and investigate defects.

Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures.

Participates in quality control inspections when required.

Works with team leaders, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.

Assist with the implementation of process improvements to increase quality/productivity and to reduce cycle time.

Other duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams.

Performing more advanced and complex assembly and testing when required

Trains other team members when required.

Comply with EHS regulations and policies

Is compliant to gowning procedures in a controlled environment.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.

Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details and quality-minded work habits.

Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and manfacturing environment.

Direct day to day work in assigned area.

Demonstrated ability to work at multiple workstations, to multitask, to be flexible in shifting task, and to be cross trained to do so


Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent

Minimum of 6 to 12 months of related manufacturing experience

Shift: 2nd Shift; 2 pm till 10:30pm

2nd shift Includes a 10% Shift diff in pay

This role supports Lamination team, which pays $1.50 extra an hour

Preferred Experience:

Demonstrated ability to handle small and delicate parts

Demonstrated ability to work with a microscope

Previous experience in a controlled environment.


Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and walking.

Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.

Must be able to visually inspect machines.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
