Production Associate, Paint Filler- Little Rock, Arkansas

Starting Pay: $20.18

Hiring Shift:

7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
o    Operate and monitor paint filling machines to ensure proper functioning.
o    Set up machines for filling operations, including adjusting settings for different paint types and container sizes.
Filling Process:
o    Fill containers with paint products according to specified guidelines and quality standards.
o    Ensure accurate measurements and avoid overfilling or underfilling containers.
Quality Control:
o    Conduct regular inspections of filled containers to ensure they meet quality specifications.
o    Deliver samples to Quality Control department for various test. 
Maintenance:
o    Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of filling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
o    Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with filling machines.
Safety Compliance:
o    Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery and handling paint products.
o    Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Documentation:
o    Maintain accurate records of production quantities, quality checks, and machine maintenance.
o    Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Collaboration:
o    Work closely with other operators, quality control personnel, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
o    Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery operation is a plus.
•    Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in paint filling or similar operations.
•    Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery.
Skills:
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
•    Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
•    Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
•    Physical stamina and ability to lift and move containers as needed.
Physical Requirements:
•    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
•    Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
•    Manual dexterity and coordination to operate machinery and handle containers safely.
Working Conditions:
•    Will require working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and machinery.
•    Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a production facility.
