Ag Processing Inc is currently hiring for a Production Assistant at our new Degumming facility in David City, NE. This person reports to and is under the general direction of the Plant Operations Manager and will travel to other AGP plants to train while the new plant is under construction. The position is responsible for evaluating, developing and implementing projects, procedures and plant operations against established design criteria. Maintain, update and implement the site’s SQF Program.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Directly responsible for project development and completion including project PAR/Tech VAP write-up procedures, obtaining project bids, organizing schedule of values, budgets, writing contracts, project scheduling, tracking insurance accords, lien waivers, performance bonds, retainage forms, and change orders Suggest, justify and aid in the development and implementation of means, methods and techniques to improve efficiency, cost and product quality in plant operations Abide by and enforce company policies and procedures with emphasis on safety Ensure the plant is compliant with SQF standards at all times, employees are properly trained under SQF guidelines, and SQF records are kept up to date. Monitor and maintain records for inspections Work closely and communicate with all departments to coordinate project activities Cover “on call” rotation Project management Assist in developing the Capital and Business Plans
