General Summary:

Product Test Team at Qualcomm is seeking for a smart, motivated, and hardworking engineer who will create product level test solutions for the next generation of Qualcomm Chipsets (across CPU, GPU, NSP, DDR, Thermal, Power and Performance etc). The candidate is expected to work in a fast-paced work environment, have a blend of technical expertise in quickly learning new technology, designing, and implementing test plan, scenarios, scripts, and test apps etc. , bringing up setups and executing the tests in PDT farm 24x7. Additionally, the candidate should have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues during testing. Excellent written and verbal communications skills to collaborate with both internal and external teams, document test results, write reports and present findings. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams with engineers, technicians and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of Python, Java, C and C++ programmingExperience with high-level operating systems (Linux and/or Android) Or any Real-time Operating systems such as QNX.Working experience with Git source code management systemsQuick adaptability to work in new technologies.Detailed oriented with strong analytical and debugging skillsBasic knowledge of design for test, design for test application, and design for test setups on an embedded system on chip.Basic knowledge of reliability test, and quality concept.Experience with Linux on-target debugging (adb, logging, etc.)Good Communication and Excellent Team working skills.Experience with Embedded software especially testing, integration, debuggingService oriented communication.Experience with embedded Multimedia development in one or more of Audio, Display, Graphics, Camera domains.Good knowledge and usage experience of Design patterns.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$107,000.00 - $160,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
