ResponsibilitiesProducts in Charge: Mainly flow cytometers, cell sorters, and fluorescence microscope systems
Technical sales and support for cell analysis equipment, focusing on flow cytometers, cell sorters, and fluorescence microscopy systems.Participate in business negotiations using face-to-face (including nationwide travel) or remote tools and provide technical sales proposals.Collaborate with the instrument sales team responsible for each area to proceed with sales actions to achieve sales targets.Work closely with marketing and technical support staff within the company to lead the entire product flow from introduction to sales and post-sales support.Participate in exhibitions and conferences to acquire new business opportunities.Contribute to the overall growth of the business by cooperating with other product representatives in the Bioscience Division.Required QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s degree or higher in science/technology fields (e.g., science, agriculture, pharmacy, biotechnology).Experience / SkillsExperience in research in the bioscience field.Excellent communication skills with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members.Strong planning and execution skills with a proactive approach.Ability to build trust and maintain close communication with customers.Positive and objective approach.Continuous learning and growth mindset.Ability to travel (domestically and internationally).Proficiency in reading and writing official documents and negotiating in Japanese.Ability to compose emails, reports, and read manuals in English.Possession of a driver’s license.Preferred ExperienceOver 3 years of experience in cell research-related work, or knowledge and experience in flow cytometer-based research.Knowledge and experience in research using flow cytometers.Knowledge and experience in research using immunostaining.Sales or technical support experience related to cell analysis products and services.Knowledge and experience in cell imaging and image analysis using fluorescence microscopy.Knowledge or experience in peripheral technologies related to cell culture.Position AttractivenessUnderstanding biology and evaluating pharmaceutical R&D in the biosciences field requires cell analysis technology. By engaging in the basic R&D stage, one can gain deep knowledge and experience in the biosciences field, contributing to research advancement at various stages.
The role involves frequent communication with overseas colleagues, offering opportunities to accumulate work experience using English.
Work StyleRespond to business negotiations on a project basis and directly introduce products to customers nationwide.Independently manage schedules, acquire necessary skills, and build materials autonomously. Except for key meetings, remote communication and work reporting are required, with minimal office attendance.Encouraged to take on responsibilities comparable to team members as soon as feasible. Will receive concentrated training in a short timeframe, with a primary emphasis on on-the-job training (OJT) to acquire skills.Encouraged to grow into a leader involved in cell analysis equipment sales in the future.
