Product Specialist – Khobar

What will you be doing?
The role forms part of the ENT Division and is responsible for executing marketing strategies and tactical plans that promotes Smith & Nephew product superiority. This role focuses on the coordination with the Regional Marketing Managers to drive revenue and market share for the division and maintain customer relations with major accounts while driving the customer requirements back into the Company. The Product Specialist will be selling unique patented devices and implants in theatre directly to opinion leading surgeons.
What will you need to be successful?
MOH/GOC sectors inclusion and accessSmoothness of the purchase cycle (POs awarding and goods delivery)Support to open new accounts, penetrate remote areas and build new relations.Support the team to understand governmental market dynamics and changes.Develop and maintain strong relationships with the distributorConduct product presentations to different customer’s level: physicians, nurses, purchasers, and decision makers.Conduct product training to in house. Training to include product features and benefits, positioning, competitive advantages, and role play.Assist in the identification and assessment of the field and marketing support needs making recommendation to management when appropriate.Maintain a strong relationship with the Business Unit staff and regional marketing managers.Act as a communication link between the marketing organization and the BU to resolve problems, quality issues, manufacturing defects, and other related issues.Ability to scrub and be present in the theatre and assist or advise the physician in S&N product implant, usage, and techniques.Successful candidates would need the following:
Degree within Health Sciences or a Biomedical DegreePrevious Sales Experience in Medical DevicesAt least 1 year’s relevant business unit marketing experienceIn-theatre and or clinical marketing experience would be ideal.Proven Marketing track record Experience in product trainingMust be able to speak and write English, ArabicYou. Unlimited.
