Chapter Leader Product Management

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. •Driving development of new offerings through collaboration with UPS partners •Working closely with the Product Owner and planning the roadmap to create maximum value and ensure portfolio performance•Define value proposition ensure clear communication to channels partners and end customers •Own the technical and market specification for the offering and determination of a business plan that supports sustainable growth•Initiate and drives product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation•Monitor global flow-business volumes and act as appropriate •Lead life cycle management process•Responsible for offering profitability and margin•Contribute to the annual / quarterly business planning process

Qualifications for the role

Minimum Bachelor’ Degree electrical engineering or other engineering disciplines, with an MBA preferredMinimum 10 years in product management, commercial, strategic marketing or similar role in electrification, power protection industry, previous experience in UPS industry is highly desiredPrevious experience working in an Agile environment Understanding of mission critical segments: Data Center, Infrastructure, UtilityStrong technical acumen, experience influence key customers, and partnersExperience in leading in matrix organizationAbility to influence the organization on the strategic direction of the business, and drive tangible and concrete actions to ensure progress.Superior business acumen and analytical skills & Global mindsetStrong executive level presentation and communications skills Excellent communication skills in English Fluent in English
