The BTP HANA & Persistency organization is a global organization dedicated to delivering data management solutions that address customers’ unique and competitive business requirements. You will work in a multi-national team responsible for security-relevant services, as well as the overall security and compliance posture of the BTP HANA & Persistency portfolio. 

 

What you’ll do
Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, especially Kubernetes and Containerization. They are running at a large scale in all major cloud provider infrastructures. With a strong focus on reusability across the BTP HANA & Persistency portfolio, we are fulfilling our responsibility to provide an enterprise-ready unified data and semantics layer that ultimately enables our customers to build mission-critical, scalable, and reliable applications on top of our services.

 

As a Product Security and Compliance Engineer you will be mainly responsible for:

As a technical counterpart you will be a trusted advisor to the compliance experts within the Product Security team who have the domain knowledge for the compliance controls to develop a reporting framework and test automation of the controls to ensure a consistent monitoring and fulfilment of regulatory requirements. Assess new or changed regulatory requirements to identify technical gaps and consult development teams to close gaps, allowing the early detection of ineffective control implementation and running of smooth and secure compliant services. Own and improve current and newly introduced compliance controls, with a focus on optimization, harmonization, and automation. Collaborate closely with and provide cross-functional support to pipeline and technology side to ensure a compliant and secure posture in the organization

 

What you bring

A degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics, or related areas Experience in development with automation pipelines, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or equivalent Experience in scripting (e.g. Python, Javascript,etc) Experience with log aggregation, analytics and visualization plaftorms (e.g. Grafana, Loki, PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc) Previous compliance experience and familiarity with industry standards (e.g. GDPR, ISO 9001/27001/22301, SOC 2) will be considered an advantage Familiarity with SQL and databases usage will be considered an advantage Strong drive for automation and efficiency improvements Understanding of cloud technologies like Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP is an advantage We are looking for a self-driven team player with a strong cyber security mindset.
