Job Description:

Assist Q&FS manager to perform the QC function, assure QC performance compliance with the requirements of Mars Q&FS and Safety requirement.

This position is the key position of quality and food safety.

What are we looking for?Higher education in food science, chemistry, laboratory, or similar fields is mandatoryGood communication skills to liaise internally and externally, as well as to assist in motivating, training, and improving the lab teamSensitivity to the quality and food safety incidentsBe Familiar with quality tools regarding root cause analysis, smart decision making, risk assessment and etc..Good computer skills, include office and other data analysis software.self-motivated, initiative, team player, odor sensitive and texture perception, depth perception, safety & hygiene & quality consciousFluent English speaking and writing;Have the health certificate within the validity period

What will be your key responsibilities?

SAFETY

All PPE must be worn in compliance with the Legal/RC requirementEnforce/Respect the safety rules and the internal policyStop any equipment / operative works / external company works if safety/environment protection/fire protection rules are brokenGuarantee and apply ISO 45001 and all related working procedures

 

ENVIRONMENT

Guarantee and apply ISO 14001 (Environment), and all related working proceduresOwnership of environmental responsibilities

 

QUALITY & FOODSAFETY

Guarantee and apply ISO 9001, 22000, Mars Standards, and all related working proceduresSupport the HACCP program in the departmentLead GLP-GHP in the area, 5SInform shift leader of quality deviations according to product standards and production proceduresPerform the oPRP’s procedure according to SOPsValidate all analysis resultsResponsible for auto control analysisCoordinate the daily morning panelCoordinate the OOS, NC and complaint investigationCollect Q&FS KPIs as for input to periodically management review;Any task as delegated by Manager

 

HUMAN RESOURCES

Training: attend any training program as scheduled by company management and train any designed person in the position

 

MANAGEMENT & RESPONSIBILITIES

Liaise with Quality & Food Safety Manager and Raw Material Quality Manager to ensure good communication and relationships with raw material suppliersSupport continuous improvement of the laboratory and all related activitiesDevelop and improve all internal interdepartmental relations and external stakeholdersUpdating management on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

 

COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION

Provide any requested documentation to other Departments according to internal rulesCommunicate to all departments about rejected RM’s or RM’s placed on QA Hold
