Product Quality Manager

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Product Quality Manager to manage quality from end to end to support Gore Fabrics business.

  

This role will be located in Gore facility in Shenzhen, China.

  

Responsibilities:  Ensure product is released on time and assist with assessing/resolving failures detected in the laboratory and manufacturing
Coordinate or assist in resolving internal and supplier non-conformances; coordinate the customer complaint to resolve or improve the issue 
Partner with manufacturing to improve the product yield and support to resolve problems in production
Engage with Supplier Quality to ensure all raw material specifications are completed prior to approving product launch; engage with Labware Admin to ensure all product setup is completed prior to approving product launch
Engage in new product stage gate review, from quality representative to approve specs and samples, sign off risk / mitigation plan following the NPD Business Process
Be consulted/partner with the business to obsolete products in the ERP System
Partner with Supplier Quality to obsolete raw material specifications when a product is obsoleted
Drive internal problem solving and improvement projects (Problem Solving Framework, kaizen events, process mapping) and Product Performance Review
Support the continuous improvement of quality system ISO9001
Be the super user for AP quality team to support digital systems/tools implementation

  

 

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree or above in engineering major (or other relevant applied science subject) is required
Minimum of 8 years of Quality related experience
Demonstrated experience in leading teams situationally, ability to influence others to drive change, work with cross function teams in a multi-culture environment Expertise in ISO 9001 or GMP quality management system, know how to establish quality system and proactively drive process improvement
Track record of effective problem solving and statistical analysis
Proficient written and oral English communication skills Ability to travel 10%  

  

Desired Qualifications: 

Desired experience with product and process validation in continuous manufacturing 
Knowledge of Six Sigma or DoE or lean manufacturing 
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, initiate, and drive projects to completion (project management skills)
