**Job Description** **Product Owner III - Digital and Technology Partners - Hybrid, Req#3024279** The Product Owner III will be responsible for partnering with business leads to execute strategic direction, ensure continuous improvement, and manage the roadmap for all digital access experiences. The candidate will work with cross functional teams to: + Consult with business partners, developers, third party vendors, and other key participants to define areas of focus and opportunities to develop solutions that meet organizational goals. + Define requirements and support development of solutions translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications and designs for solutions. + Manage the backlog of experience product deliverables, build on learnings from qualitative and quantitative sources, and develop solutions in alignment with organizational goals. + Independently initiate, identify and coordinate analysis of complex needs in innovative approaches to solutions, available product functionality, and operational readiness assessment. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in a technical or healthcare discipline. + Twelve years of related experience, In-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms, tailor communication to audience, mediate and facilitate communications between others, and communicate architecture to all levels of management and customers. Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders to resolve significant architecture issues. + Healthcare product experience in particular in leading initiatives supporting at digital access journeys **preferred** . + Product Ownership/Management experience **strongly preferred** . **Competencies** + Results-driven: Detail-oriented problem solver with a strong bias for getting stuff done. Experienced in creating processes and systems to optimally prioritize + Technically fluent: You might not be able to code but you understand how software products are designed and built, and how they work. You can understand complex technical concepts and explain them simply to non-technical people. Proactively teaches, trains, and supports other team members , M5L - HSO Digital Experience - MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital **Responsibilities** + Conduct internal and external sessions to layout ideal design, brainstorm with end users, and ensure technical design supports objectives and measures appropriately tying back to concept objectives supporting business goals around all aspects of digital access. + Partner with digital experience researchers and designers to optimize the ideal access experience. + Plan, coordinate and conduct the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. + Lead the technical discovery and specification defining process, and skillful application of experience, research and due diligence to the planning and execution of development and architecture. Evaluate existing solutions or explore new solutions. + Participates in integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall business goals. + Understand and define customer problems and articulate it to the development team to drive solutions. Break down complex problems into actionable steps. + Partner with business leads to develop the business case for the new application with cost, service and benefit dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions. + Lead work to Define and track KPIs and measurable success criteria in Objectives and Key Results framework. + Partner with business unit resources to determine overall timelines for the projects and use tactical session/documents designed to capture and track the features planned for the project release + Direct and organize technology team resources managing employee-facing, AI, and digital experience platforms to ensure solutions align with enterprise solutions and the application portfolio for Access. + Organize product and technology teams to execute in Agile approaches against one unified digital Access roadmap. + Define what can be delivered according to project plans and how that work will be achieved. + Coordinate demos to show the value of the product, project or service to a current or prospective business group. + Manage and drive the product roadmap as a shared source of truth that outlines the vision, direction, priorities, and progress over time. + Advise clients on the consequences of actions; communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks. The salary range for the role is $103000 - $198065 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
