Broadridge is Growing! We are seeking a Product Owner who will support clients on the features of their product, and solutions to technical inquiries. Someone who will leverage expertise in workflow and process management. Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters. Troubleshoots problems and recommends corrective action. Defines product features and drives adoption of product that will lead product team to make more informed business decisions. Understands the needs of the client and works across departments to bring product to life, communicating the voice of the customer. Continuously assesses new paradigms and innovation that can help deliver and accelerate on product’s roadmap. May also be involved with product’s technology, implementation of consistent methodology, architecture and design.
Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.Job Responsibilities:
· Represent clients’ interests in the delivery of new product implementation and ongoing product management initiatives
· Assist in the establishment and management of rigorous product management processes
· Incorporate feature requests into internal and client-facing product roadmaps
· Refine and prioritize the agile development backlog
· Prepare prioritized agendas for weekly business and scrum team refinement sessions
· Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria, both independently and in partnership with key business and technology stakeholders, supporting acceptance test-driven development, including validation that delivery complies with its Definition of Done (DoD)
· Set sprint goals
· Plan and coordinate monthly User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
· Conduct monthly UAT and production validation for certain stories
· Plan and participate in monthly releases and upgrades, in conjunction with technology partners
· Author release notes each month, both internal and client-facing
· Analyze preferences and requests of end users
· Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
Qualifications:
Work experience as a product owner, business analyst or similar role in product managementAt least 7 years of Agile experience Experience within Asset Management, Retirement, Healthcare or Annuity industries preferredExperience coordinating and conducting User TestingTechnical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies preferredMindset that encourages collaboration, self-organization, accountability and a drive to deliver high-quality resultsTeam spirit and effective communication abilitiesStrong organizational skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredAbility to collaborate, lead and influence cross-functional teamsAbility to identify gaps, program risks and take pre-emptive actions to address themDemonstrated technical and financial aptitudeExcellent technical writing and verbal communication skillsStrong execution and product delivery skillsAbility to prioritize work to ensure completion in a timely mannerHourly range $60-70/hr
