The Aftermarket Sustainment Engineering (ASE) organization is seeking a highly motivated Product Owner to join the Digital Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (DMRO) Team developing the capabilities to capture, process, and analyze, and leverage inspection data for use in reporting / advanced analytics enabling productivity gains on several fronts. 

This position will focus driving development of the DMRO Hub suite of applications, ensure connectivity of the hub with MRO Inspection machines and develop advanced reporting and analytics to support productivity improvement within the Aftermarket Organization as well as support the DMRO Project Manager.

Draw on expertise from across the organization to develop a cloud based DMRO Hub to capture and store inspection data with links to other data sources enabling reporting and advanced analytics.

Product owner for the DMRO Hub and Data Platform with responsibilities:

Manage the product roadmap

Support for product vision and strategy

Engaging with stakeholders and customers

Manages and prioritizes the team backlog 

Support the team to maximize the value of the product delivered

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10+ years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 7+ years of relevant experience.

7+ years of gas turbine development and support experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

10% Travel

Qualifications We Prefer:

P&W project proficiency level of 3 or greater, or equivalent?

Experienced in agile and product owner

Experience in use of Jira and/or ZenHub

Knowledge of web  / cloud based application development a plus

Previous experience in an aftermarket role is a plus

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
