Trimble’s AECO Platform group is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead and drive day to day product activities for our Ecommerce & Admin Experience teams. This role will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to execute the vision for the services.
Ecommerce and Admin Experience are building the next generation of Trimble’s customer experiences from product discovery through product administration and onboarding. Together they represent the starting point for streamlined, omnichannel relationships with our customers powered by subscriptions. Some key capabilities you might help drive include building out a new Ecommerce store, self-serve purchasing for existing customers, advanced software and hardware license management capabilities, identity management integrations, and product utilization dashboards.
What You Will Do
We're looking for a strategic and driven Product Owner to join our dynamic teams. In this role, you'll be at the heart of product development for the Ecommerce & Admin Experience teams. You'll work closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to transform high-level vision to detailed requirements, manage the product backlog, and deliver exceptional self-serve capabilities.
Vision and Strategy: Collaborating with product management and engineering colleagues to help refine features and capabilities in alignment with the AECO Platform team OKRs. Communicate this vision to all stakeholders as needed to ensure a shared understanding and direction.
Backlog Management: Work with Product Management to prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on tasks that maximize business value and meet user needs.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a product manager, business analyst, software engineer, or a similar role, with a clear understanding of software development practices. Experience breaking down extensive features into incremental, executable pieces, and writing user stories.
Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello. Ability to actively participate in product development team meetings and help execute, and improve, the product life cycle (requirements to development to delivery). Being an open-minded, inquisitive individual who likes to work in a team, but who also has the ability to work independently in a self-directed environment will be a huge boost.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Attributes: Strategic thinker with a user-centric mindset. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Organizational skills, including effective time and project management skills.
About Your Location
In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. The position may need interactions with stakeholders in the US and hence flexibility in working hours is highly appreciated. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office.
