We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly driven Product Owner to support and lead the Central business requirements backlog as part of Frontline Education’s HCM Portfolio. You would own and drive all components from feature idea through design, deployment, and operations, while working in an exciting, fast-paced, agile environment.
This role reports to the Group Product Manager and works closely with Development, Architecture, UX Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Strategic Partners to deliver solutions that simplify the daily work life of the front line of education.
Responsibilities
Live and breathe the software product backlog; owning, creating, refining and prioritizing business requirements Collaboratively work with multiple Scrum teams to estimate, groom and plan for the highest priority features Participate in Sprint planning, daily Scrum stand-ups and Sprint retrospectives Conduct customer validation sessions to ensure prioritized features meet customer needs Partner with the UX team through research and customer validation to ensure we are solving the problems in the right way Provide support, decision-making, and validation during design and development Ensure requirements, project status, and release notes are properly documented Train and support internal stakeholders on existing, under development, and new feature/function Work collaboratively with the Frontline product teams to support product vision and strategy Other responsibilities as required by FrontlineCompetencies

You are a strong project manager that ensures all elements of a project are well coordinated to ensure a product releases that are timely and scope complete. You can deliver intuitive, streamlined and easy to use solutions that don’t compromise on functionality or compliance. You understand the value of UX and can work effectively in partnership with our User Experience team and solve problems the right way through research and validation You are an engaging and outstanding communicator who excels at negotiating across cross-functional teams. You’re an analytical thinker who can understand the impacts of new ideas to all parts of your solutions as well as how your solution behaves in a platform context.Qualifications
3 years working with software solutions Proven expertise leading cross-functional teams that together launch on-time and on-budget. Experience with a SaaS application preferably as part of an HRMS or applicant tracking system. Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in a Business, Computer Science or related field. Experience with Agile development methodologies Ability to translate market needs into clear and detailed software requirements K12 experience highly regarded Occasional travel required (~10%)Working knowledge of product strategy and key business results (Bookings, Retention, Operational Efficiency), including but not limited to:
Competitive Analysis Market Analysis & SWOT TAM Win/Loss Analysis Customer sat and retention analysisSupport activities related to Annual Planning Process
