VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Product Owner – Finance Technology to join our DT Finance Team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

The Product Owner – Finance Technology is the Subject Matter Expert for the multiple applications including SAP S4/HANA Finance, BPC, Blackline, Vertex, Coupa, etc. You will understand the month end processes, dimensions, interfaces, reporting requirements, and audit requests of financial VF’s various financial applications. You should have a broad finance background and strong business savvy.
This role is the main conduit that translates business processes/requirements into system functionality. This position supports your functional areas by analysing business needs, documenting requirements, and proposing new systems, processes and strategies to improve applications landscape efficiency/scalability. You are responsible to design and to deliver solutions often of a very complex nature and processes.
This individual should possess qualities that inspire collaboration and trust to influence cross functional teams. This position carries a high degree of accountability for ensuring strategies are executed through reliable processes.Deep knowledge of SAP Finance capabilities: General ledger, Controlling, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, FI integration with OTC and PTP applications, Forecast & PlanningAct as SME on Financial processes with cross functional teams to ensure Financial requirements are achieved.Partner with business and team members to identify and document business processes, WRICEF, functional specifications, test plans/scripts, and deployment plans.Understand the implemented configuration and VF’s finance processes to design future finance solutions, enhancements, and continuous improvements for SAP based VF’s business priorities and initiatives.Take part in the segregation of duties and Security role definitions for users in the SAP Finance space.Provide input on and oversight of internal processes with respect to SAP master data, hierarchies and reporting.Coordinate with Application support to ensure a seamless transition of support from Hypercare activities. Understand and provide guidance on the build of Finance application security roles.Support and guide business users and their teams in all aspects of solution development and usage FI-GL, AR, AP, Credit and Asset Management, Special Ledger FI-SL, Project Systems, Bank Accounting, Foreign Currency, Treasury. Other Duties as assigned.Manage and satisfy SAP audit controls and pertinent SOX program requirements as needed.Support monthly financial close and forecasting processes, as well as budget and planning.Hand-on SAP S4 HANA or SAP FICO experience is .Ability to lead a team, develop people career, feedback and management.Educational/ Position Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferably in the engineering, technology, or finance field. Relevant SAP certification is a plus.7+ years of experience in the technology profession focused on SAP S4 HANA Finance. Preferred 1 full end-to-end experience implementing SAP S/4.Experience in implementing medium/large projects in multi country environment.Clear understanding and hands-on experience in several SAP Finance processes (AP, GL, Banking, Treasury Cash Management, Asset Accounting).Experience with integrations between SAP and non-SAP Finance / Procurement applications, such as in the areas of Procurement, Digital, Tax Authority, Local legislations, Bank.Experience working with third parties, such as banks, to exchange information through middleware solutions.Able to clearly document functional requirements and solution designs. Translate documentation into configuration and or technical specifications for development.Ability to lead an internal team, conduct their performance reviews and mentor their career growth.Experience in documentation and participation in unit testing, integration testing and cutover activities related to SAP Finance.Experience working as a liaison between the Finance business and IT teams.Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively on Finance solutions.Strong organizational skills and dedication to quality delivery with a proven track record of consistently meeting project deadlines.Experience in the fashion/apparel/footwear industry.What will make you successful
