What you’ll do

Our team delivers a set of services that comprise the BTP Unified Customer Landscape – an innovative solution at the core of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise, providing automated integration for SAP applications, BTP runtimes, partner solutions and non-SAP applications, so they can work seamlessly together. We build API-first backbone services that collect metadata about the customer landscape and application integrations from various providers, expose this metadata via APIs and UIs for landscape discovery and a smart framework for applications to exchange security configurations automatically.

 

The Role

We are looking for a Product Ops specialist to join us and help enable our stakeholders to onboard and use our services in achieving complex application integration scenarios.

 

Responsibilities

Gather deep knowledge on the Unified Customer Landscape services (UCL) product, onboarding processes, discovery capabilities, integration scenarios supported, APIs and protocols exposed. Understand complex technical scenarios for application to application to service integrations including, technical connectivity (REST APIs, connectivity configurations, credentials handling), business level integration (tenant to tenant mappings, data sharing) Support stakeholders to understand the UCL service concepts and features in-depth as well as how to adopt them. Attend meetings with stakeholders together with product management to start understanding how the scenario is transformed into UCL configurations and create the actual configurations. Be able to understand a stakeholder scenario and match it to the right pattern and respective steps they would need to do, to adopt UCL Support stakeholders during their integration journey by answering questions in various support channels Build/extend UCL documentation and guides with focus on simplified stakeholders onboarding and with the help of technical writers In the best case, the ProductOps should provide working examples (applications) on the topics covered with the help of the engineering team Provide feedback and make suggestions to product management and engineering teams on how to optimize onboarding, APIs, meetings, etc.

What you bring

University education in computer science, software engineering or similar 3+ years of professional experience Good understanding on networks and integration protocols like REST, OData, GraphQL Good understanding on authentication / authorization concepts - OAuth, mTLS, system-to-system integration Hands-on on the topics covered for consulting and be able to present demos to stakeholders Ability to help resolving technical issues during stakeholders’ integration and adoption of UCL Knowledge on some programming language as an advantage (Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, Golang, etc.) Ability to learn fast and quickly get into the details on the topics covered Good interpersonal skills and fluency in English: collaboration in an international environment will be a regular part of your job.

The project builds on the trendiest cloud-native technologies that drive the next wave of enterprise grade applications. We develop core platform backend services based on micro-services architecture and orchestrated via Kubernetes on the leading cloud environments.
