Job Description

Albatros by NBC SportsNext is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager who is fluent in German to join our team. As a key collaborator in the business you will work at the intersection of marketing, sales and product development, translating complex product and technology language into easily understandable messaging for our customers and prospective customers. Your primary focus will be on supporting the sales and customers success teams with the creation of email and social media communications, product brochures, user guide documentation, and other marketing collateral. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of marketing technology products.

This is a hybrid role based in Cape Town, South Africa. You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager in Belfast and work closely with the Product Director in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate technical product specifications into compelling and easy-to-understand messaging across various marketing channels for customers in current and emerging markets.Collaborate with the product team to gather insights and understanding of new products and features.Develop and maintain product marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, and website content.Create engaging tutorials and self-help documentation to assist customers in understanding our products and maximising their usage.Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.Support the sales team with product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development and customer success to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation.Support the growth of Albatros technology products, diversifying our marketing message into key new markets.

Qualifications

It is essential that candidates can demonstrate; 

Fluency in written and spoken German and English.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing strategy and campaign management.Proven experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology industry.Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.Strong creative and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.Experience in creating user technology guides and marketing materials, utilising Adobe Creative Cloud Suite or similar.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Passion for golf and understanding of the golf industry and club operations.Prior experience working with sales teams and supporting sales initiatives is a plus.Experience working with website content management systems.

Additional skills and experience that would be desirable; 

French speaking.Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce Pardot, Google Analytics and Wordpress.
