Product Marketing (Insights) Intern
About the role 

We are seeking a Market Analysis Intern to join our Product Marketing team this summer. This is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow alongside leaders and industry experts within an Ai-powered tech company. You’ll be exposed to multiple areas within the marketing team, such as market research, competitive analysis, analyst relations, messaging & positioning, and communications. Your contributions will impact real-world projects for both our users and Dialers.

This internship will be hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days in office, located in San Ramon. The intern manager will be the Product Marketing Director, Insights. The program will run from June 16 to August 15, 2025.Dialpad’s Product Marketing team is responsible for:

Developing research and analysis across market, customers, and competition that lead to insights to inform  marketing, sales, and product initiatives. Creating a winning narrative and stories that surface in pitch decks, GTM strategies, thought leadership, and communications.  Partnering with content and writing teams to execute a content strategy that is powerful and consistent. Leading successful product launches.

About you

You’re an MBA student with an interest in research-driven business, marketing, and product strategy in the tech and telecom industry. You love to learn, synthesize information, and identify key insights and trends that can help a business differentiate. You write clearly and present your ideas effectively. You’re ready to be treated like a colleague and paid for your contributions.

Requirements

Current MBA student. Hybrid with at least 2 days in the office.  Able to work in San Ramon area (or will be for the summer). 60-90 days preferred (10 business weeks). To be interviewed (both for our vetting and for their practice).

What you will achieve

         In your first 30 days you will:

Perform a survey of internally-available and publicly-available research and data on Ai solutions for customer communications Understand from internal and industry Ai experts how Ai will evolve in the next 2-3 years and what that means for our industry Identify forward-looking Ai trends that you think should guide Dialpad’s messaging & positioning and product strategies Accompany Product Marketing mentors to substantive meetings across the organization

         By the end of your internship you will have:

Developed a trends report on the Ai customer communications landscape that includes market, buyer, and competitive information Generated recommendations for Dialpad’s marketing and product teams Presented your findings to Dialpad leadership Demonstrated the ability to efficiently in a fast-paced remote-first company Presented your work to a company-wide group of business leaders and mentors
