Product Marketer, Indoor Mapping (DATAMARK - Remote)

Job Description 

We are seeking an ambitious Product Marketer to support our rapidly growing indoor mapping business. This individual will collaborate closely with various cross-functional leads to support the development and marketing of new and existing offerings across DATAMARK Technology's Indoor Mapping Division. 

In this role, you will help communicate the unique value and capabilities of DATAMARK Technologies Indoor Mapping offerings in a way that resonates with our audience by demonstrating a deep understanding of various user and buyer personas. You will, through tight partnership with DATAMARK Technologies Product, Business Development, and Client Success teams, obtain customer insights, map competitive intelligence, inform the product roadmap, and own the strategic positioning and messaging of our indoor mapping business. In addition, you will train and enable the Business Development team by creating effective presentation assets and designing the scripts and playbooks for sales as we launch new initiatives. You will work in tandem with the marketing and design teams to deliver compelling collateral that highlights our indoor mapping values and differentiators and drive campaigns that enable product adoption. 

The successful candidate will have strong strategic thinking skills, solid general business acumen, and familiarity with the geospatial industry. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, creativity, and the ability to distill complex information into simple, easy-to-understand content are critical. You will partner and collaborate with key stakeholders across product, customer success, sales, and marketing teams to drive key commercial outcomes.  

Responsibilities: 

Conduct periodic customer research interviews to identify pain points/goals and establish effective feedback loops to inform content creation and product direction.  Develop detailed customer personas and segmentation strategies to ensure product messaging and positioning resonate with targeted customer groups.  Enable sales through the creation of compelling presentations, solution maps, battle cards, talking points and other supporting materials.  Support effective go-to-market strategy and product launches working closely with product, sales, and marketing.  Hone product strategic messaging and positioning, partner with marketing to develop compelling, fact-based content and collateral that amplify key product values and differentiators.  Promote product adoption with effective customer success-informed programs and marketing initiatives.  Conduct win/loss analyses and collaborate with the customer success and project management teams to identify patterns to improve offerings and messaging continuously.  Generate quarterly omnichannel campaigns that drive audience awareness, expand audience footprint, and create demand for offerings.  Analyze campaign success by developing specific KPIs and make alterations according to data for the next quarter.  Message and present campaign results to the leadership team on a quarterly basis.  Participate and represent DATAMARK Technologies in key industry conferences, trade shows and events and coordinate with corporate marketing to co-design broader marketing campaigns. 

Basic Qualifications: 

Minimum bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus  Excellent organizational skills with a proven record of managing multiple, high priority projects simultaneously with a proven attention to detail  6-8 years of experience in product marketing  Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office, (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)  Experience working remotely  Strong attention to detail and exceptional written/oral communication skills  Experience in government, geospatial, or software industries 

Preferred Qualifications 

Strong research and quantitative as well as qualitative data analysis skills  Ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams and drive outcomes  Ability to succeed and embody a growth mindset in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities. 

LOCATION: REMOTE

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $120,000, depending on the experience of the incoming candidate.
