Job Description

Product Manager: Be part of the Product Segment Team Cutting & Finishing (resp. for global markets)

Location: Shanghai, China

 

Job responsibility:

Proactive participation on overall Segment Team responsibility and tasks:Engaging with Users on a regular basis and collect insightsSpecifying and prioritizing user and market requirementsFacilitate relevant research studies and concept screenersDetermines the customer and system requirements (CRS, SRS)Analyzing internal and external data and identify gaps and opportunities (product / business)Create relevant communication content for product launches (incl. go to market)Manage current product portfolio requirements (pricing, new products, ALR, competition, complexity, cost reduction, …)Utilize UX and design thinking concepts to develop new products and services in line with overall strategic goalsCommunicate product application and features know-how to expertise areas in an understandable wayPrioritize which tasks within in the projects and adhere to the processes (PIF)Creates sustainable value in its segment in order to achieve TNS, EBIT, quality targetsFocus on product segment of Cutting Applications and acting first line of contact for sales regions and external stakeholdersSupport of the regional sales organizations with the Cutting overall direction, product launches and discontinuations planning and additional launch releases

QualificationsBachelor degree in Business / Marketing / Innovation management related major (Master is preferred; Strong marketing background preferred)User centricity, understanding the user needs and translate them into user requirements, design thinking mindsetFluent in EnglishHigh level of analytical skillsBeyond thinking (thinking outside of box)Open for new ideas with global perspectiveSpeedy to figure out solution / prototypingCommit on the resultsGood communication and presentation skillsSelf-organization skills and self-responsible way of workingPassion to work and win
