Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesThe Strategic Product Group Terminals generates more than 100 million USD sales with weighing solutions consisting of weighing indicators, automation controllers, applications and accessories. The SPG has the mission to develop and market terminals and applications that serve the purpose of all industrial SBUs, namely Standard Industrial, OEM, Vehicle, Transport & Logistics and Automation Systems. The Product Manager Team of the SPG Terminals manages the terminal portfolio in the interest of the SBUs. Mettler Toledo's is currently hiring a Product Manager to become a product, industry, and technical authority for our industrial line of automation products.
In this role, your responsibilities would include: You work with METTLER TOLEDO customers, product management team and R&D sites to define product visions and turn them into realityYou own the marketing strategy and go-to-market activities for your product focusing the global marketYou explore, evaluate, and develop new technology standards for the industrial weighing automation product portfolioYou drive innovation in signal processing and real-time control algorithms together with domain expertsYou assist market organizations and customers with the onboarding to new technologies and integrations with key automation system providers: Siemens, Rockwell, Emerson, ABB, Schneider, Beckhoff, Bosch, Mitsubishi and moreYou collaborate within the global matrix organization to leverage synergies across METTLER TOLEDO’s ONE TEAMWhat You Need to SucceedFollowing requirements are necessary for this role: You hold a PhD or Master degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or similar subjectYou have technical experience in the areas of factory automation systems, measurement technology, robotics or machine buildingYou have a background in business and marketing or want to have more future exposure in that areaYou have a successful track record of ownership and were the go-to person for a particular topic, product or areaYou are passionate about promoting your visions, products and technologies through marketing and influencer channelsYou are open and willing to travel 20%-30% regional and/or international to run co-creation projects with key customers and support go-to-market activities for your productOur Offer to YouWe offer:Flexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunitiesA 40-hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidaysFree parking and direct access to public transportHealthy lunches cooked onsite at our own METTLER TOLEDO restaurant, with special prices for employees A range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businessesYou can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.
