Product Manager II - Fintech
**About the Role** We are looking for a Product Manager within Revenue and Quote to Cash Products team to build financial platforms which are truly world class. This role will be responsible for owning and designing Uber’s financial infrastructure supporting billing, credit monitoring, cash application, collections, settlements, revenue accounting, revenue analytics. As part of a global team with presence in multiple locations and supporting Uber businesses in 650+ cities, you will create platforms to automate key quote to cash and revenue processes, optimize financial close activities, onboard new businesses and markets onto Uber financial systems, and enable visibility into financials in near real-time. Your performance is measured by the impact of the products you launch and by your ability to lead and inspire a high-performing cross-functional team that includes Product, Engineering, Data, Finance, Design, Sales and Operations. **\-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ----** 1. Work with Uber lines of business leadership and Finance leaders to understand the vision of their businesses and products and build a systems strategy on how to enable their quote to cash and revenue needs 2. Provide strategic and operational direction to a talented team of Business Systems Analysts and Software Engineers 3. Define and execute a strategy for end to end quote to cash and revenue systems that provides “one stop shopping” for Finance and new lines of business 4. Define and own a 12-18 month roadmap for revenue products 5. Evaluate and own decisions between buying and building products in Revenue space 6. Lead large cross-functional teams to deliver large scale projects from inception to deployment, including influencing and selling on the product vision 7. Master a deep understanding of revenue, quote to cash processes and data flows in order to communicate, assess, prioritize with stakeholders 8. Execute a large portfolio of projects supporting multiple products and stakeholders 9. Ensure financial systems in scope are designed and developed with appropriate automated controls for SOX compliance, regulatory tax compliance, segregation of duties, access controls. **\-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ----** 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent; 2. 5+ years of experience in product management 3. Strong technical acumen and a deep understanding of Finance processes, in particular in quote to cash, revenue accounting domain. 4. Proven capability in delivering systems end to end: building out a strategy from inception all the way to requirements, design, build and post production support 5. Understanding of distributed systems, stream processing, data modeling, APIs 6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and leadership **\-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ----** 1. Masters in Business Administration 2. 2+ yrs of experience in building, scaling and delivering highly successful and innovative financial systems 3. Experience in building Quote to Cash, Revenue Accounting, Settlements products 4. Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Accounting. 5. Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction, agile project management 6. Experience in one or more of the following: Cloud infrastructure, software as a service, big data, security and privacy, development and operations, or artificial intelligence/machine learning. 7. Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority 8.
