JOB DESCRIPTION:

Own one or more product features in a complex product and lead project execution, owning product development plans and representing features within the cross-functional team, including demo to internal stakeholders at key program milestones. Propose new feature ideas that address a customer pain point or need based on deep and firsthand understanding of the customer. Prioritize and communicate production customer issues and defects based on relevant data for timely resolution. Interact frequently with customers, identify needs and prioritize customer requirements. Generate new ideas by analyzing product data for insights, actively gathering data from multiple sources (customer, market analysis, sales and revenue etc.), define and evaluate product hypotheses in a quantitative manner such as AB testing, and drive solutions to business problems. Support the go-to market strategy, communicating customer requirements and timelines to stakeholders such as marketing and sales and participate in developing customer facing collaterals. Participate in product discovery and use information derived from competitive analysis to manage portions of the product lifecycle and determine strategic product vision. Consider high-level technical approaches to use when prioritizing functionality. Proficiency in various technologies to assist day-to-day tasks (Excel, Balsamiq, Tableau, Python, SQL, etc.) and firm grasp of data and technical architecture principles and best practices. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.4 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.Also required is: 4 years of experience: working with customers and business stakeholders to understand user needs and pain points and converting them into product requirements for existing or new product; utilizing research methodologies to understand customer needs, gather feedback on existing and proposed solution and develop deeper understanding of the competitive landscape to inform product vision and strategy; working in Agile/Scrum software development, managing and prioritizing requirements using backlog management tools including Azure Dev Ops, and Jira, and producing product artifacts using collaboration tools including Microsoft Office Suite and Confluence; working with a cross-functional team of user interface designers, software engineers, researchers, data analysts and architects to develop product solutions that meet customer needs and expectations; and utilizing data analysis and visualization tools including MS-Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to track behavioral and usage trends, key performance indicators, product success metrics and make informed product decisions.Employee reports to LexisNexis USA office in New York, NY, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.

SALARY RANGE:

$128,523.00 to $171,300.00/year
