Product Manager ERP Job Description: We are seeking a new Product Manager to help define our product propositions, identify new product development opportunities and manage our crucial product development timelines. Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of SDMO, you will have the opportunity to fully analyse channel, product and brand performance in line with activity and ROI. Leveraging key data and insights, you will help to identify new product opportunities and oversee new product launches. The Product Managers will be responsible for the creation of a commercially focused Product strategy that they will communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders. You will balance this with interactions with our Product Engineering teams internally to support the delivery of new capabilities. *** This is a hybrid position - working 3 days a week from our Johannesburg office. *** Key Responsibilities: What you’ll be doing: Defining and articulate product vision and strategy as well as managing requirements. Leading product governance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. This is a crucial part of the role which ensures that the program of work associated with SDMO is executed to achieve the KPIs set for the product: P&L, NPS, growth by region and by channel, and so forth. Delivering the product – be accountable for the delivery of the product from requirement to usage and in-life management. Aligning product strategy with other Sage products and ensure adherence to corporate strategy. Communicating product requirements and rationale with all stakeholders, in particular R&D/Technology, product marketing, marketing, country leaders, channel managers, finance, M&A, country commercial leads, executives. Being the voice and the mission of the product inside and outside Sage, where detailed product knowledge is required (vs marketing content, which is owned by product marketing/marketing). Creating, maintaining and communicating product roadmaps monthly; perform and document change management in lock step with process. Adopting rigor in all activity including use of tools, processes and methodologies such as JIRA, Agile.
