Summary:

The Product Group Manager develops and implements the strategic direction for Huntington’s’ payments APIs This position partners with Payment product teams (like ACH, Merchant, RPT) as well as Digital & IT Delivery teams drive our roadmap and delivery of APIs.The role is focused onDefining API/Integration Roadmap & prioritization based on mkt/client feedback;Designing & Architecting API infrastructure for scale (e.g. higher TPS)  & securityDesign of APIs to be configurable to different client needsWorking with tech teams for delivery

Job Description

The Product Group Manager develops and implements the strategic direction for Huntington’s’ payments APIs Duties & Responsibilities:Drives Voice-of-customer to define product roadmap Sets the strategy and priorities for API product development/modification. Convert strategy into capability requirements & featuresWorks with Digital, IT teams and Product Leaders to build and execute  Work with Architects and IT teams on Scaling strategies Manages product group P&L  including support business case for new investmentsPerforms other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in software development in business or technical capacity5+ years of Payments experience with Fintechs or BanksAt least three to five years of experience in API development and implementationKnowledge of API orchestration &  Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA)Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degreeKnowledge of Restful API design patternsExpertise in ensuring API security and authentication mechanisms  Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly; Must be savvy and passionate about driving results and innovationExperience in project planning & management, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesExceptional analytical abilities, critical thinking, and creative problem solvingProven written and oral communication skills including senior leadership presentationExperience using Agile methods for custom hardware or embedded software development

Compensation Range:

$130,000 - $150,000 Annual Draw (reconciled against earned incentive compensation)

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
