ROLE SUMMARY:
IRIS is more than just an image recognition solution; it is a data engine leveraged across our Sales Enablement System. The Manager, Product Owner, is responsible for improving and bringing new image recognition capabilities to the market. This individual will work closely with internal and external teams to define and drive our priorities forward, enabling us to scale IRIS as a 360-degree commercial lever in our sales process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for leading the product backlog, and communicating important updates, plans, and progress to the appropriate parties.Continuously refine the product backlog to ensure it aligns with our long-term vision and accurately reflects current priorities.Responsible for defining key image recognition priorities, including automating the flow of AB innovation products and packages, along with their associated metadata, to our image recognition provider.Implement robust, near-time reporting on product and package recognition and accuracy for our Mega-brands and other key brands across the AB portfolio.Establish clear business requirements with internal and external development teams to ensure that expectations, prioritization, and the timely delivery of epics, features, bugs, and product backlog items are well-defined.Define the stage gates to go live with new features.Work closely with the Analyst, Scrum & Support to gain an understanding of status and overall sprint progress; participate in agile scrum routines where applicable.Partner across the broader Commercial Sales organization, including Digital Sales & Operations, and our wholesaler network, to gather and consolidate feedback and build in-house capabilities demonstrating image recognition data and other relevant information for IRIS.Establish processes to supervise and evaluate user feedback throughout the year on new features and improvements to IRIS.Work closely with the Manager, Customer Experience & Support to incorporate feedback and requests from users and internal partners into the product roadmap.Actively contribute and present content on the product roadmap, plans, and progress to Senior Leadership.Use critical thinking and curiosity to find new, creative ways to solve problems, even if it means redefining legacy processes.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Communication Studies, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other applicable fields.2+ years of project management and/or product management experience.2+ years of partner and/or vendor management experience.Proven track record to extract knowledge and gain insights from structured and unstructured data (examples required) -- Skill level: IntermediateStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.Soft skills: Task organization and prioritization, time management, critical thinking, adaptability, curiosity, active listening, problem-solving.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
