Job Description

The Product Manager, Innovation is a critical role that will work directly with Vestcom’s Commercial Leadership team to develop and commercialize the future revenue drivers for Vestcom. This person is expected to be an expert in leveraging industry trends, customer insights, and technical advancements to maintain Vestcom’s cutting edge. Primary responsibilities include maintaining the new product roadmap, conceptualizing new revenue opportunities, and facilitating pilots and partnerships to realize those opportunities. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

Drive innovation consistent with Vestcom’s overall strategy, priorities, and targetsBuild product roadmap of next generation capabilities and solutionsCreate hypothesis-driven product development plans and adapt plan to new learnings and shifts in the marketplaceConduct build/buy/partner analyses on new revenue opportunitiesTrack and evaluate technical and competitive attributes of competing and tangential innovationCollaborate cross-functionally to leverage insights from across the organizationPartner with IT to document learnings and develop working prototypes or products.Develop testing procedures and ad hoc approaches to evaluate current solution capabilities and points of improvement with developing solutionsEnsures compliance with internal policies, procedures and internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.

QualificationsBA/BS is required; Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields are preferred. 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in positions in innovation or product managementAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically the following is required: Excel, PowerPoint, WordAdvanced knowledge of Google Workspace, specifically the following is required:  Gmail, Doc, Sheets, Drive, MeetAn understanding of statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions)Must be adept at accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, self-reliant when resolving issues to ensure objectives are completed and capable of determining when escalation of issues is necessary. Must have exceptional time management, organizational and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong oral, interpersonal and written communication skills. Must be able to develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the development of strategies and project plans that meet departmental goals and ensure quality standards for service. Ability to embody and reflect Vestcom’s core values

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $120,000-140,000 year.
The hiring [base salary / wage rate] range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
