About the team

As PM lead for the Onboarding and Trusted Users team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for getting users up and running on Stripe. You will manage a team of exceptional product managers that are responsible for building the full lifecycle user journey from the moment they onboard to stripe. 

You will:

Hire, coach, and manage PMs in the Onboarding and Trusted Users team Define the goals and multi-year roadmap for getting and keeping users enabled on Stripe Deeply understand and articulate the problems our users are facing and how to solve them Collaboratively partner with other Stripe teams early in the product development lifecycle and jointly shape product plans that lead with delightful risk experiences Drive the delivery of delightful user experiences by collaborating with the many internal teams responsible for Stripe’s risk and compliance management

We’re looking for someone who has:

Strong product sense, including experience building both business and consumer experiences Experience collaborating closely with design to define surprisingly great user experiences Experience developing a multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for large scale products A capacity to build team vision, hire outperformers, and lead a high performing team.  A talent for building shared service architecture that Risk teams can build and scale on top of The ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans The ability to communicate well to the broader organization; setting a compelling vision and with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems A desire to work closely with users, gather feedback, and understand their problems

Requirements:

12+ years of product management experience, 5+ years managing a team Technical skills e.g., ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems, build a robust integration with the Stripe API, make meaningful contributions to high-stakes discussions on data modeling or software architecture, etc. Strongly preferred: Have significant experience with both consumer products and risk related products
