Job Description:
The Product Group Owner, Shop & Buy – Direct Investing Journey is accountable for driving awareness, consideration & new client onboarding primarily through our public website and account opening platforms. The role involves leading the efforts of a cross-functional team who are on a mission to make joining us and ready to start investing, feel seamless and effortless.
Depth & Scope:
Sets an ambitious vision for the sales and client onboarding experience that continuously raises the bar on quality, performance, and ambition.
Collaborates closely with Platforms & Technology, human centered design, Data Science, Marketing, and various other stakeholders to lead the prioritization, development, and launch of new products, processes, and features.
Manages the full end-to-end digital & assisted channel sales funnel to maximize conversions and drive increased sales volume by partnering with Marketing, Distribution and Product teams.
Identifies and leads ongoing efforts with cross-functional teams to continuously optimize the site and application experience toward ongoing, incremental improvement in sales, lead generation and service adoption.
Establishes and owns a variety of metrics related to performance and client outcomes.
Works collaboratively with Marketing and Strategy and Planning partners to understand client and prospect needs/behaviors, brand direction, product strategies and enterprise strategy so digital sales experiences can support the objectives
Defines approach and delivers against Objectives & Key Results (OKR) and manages projects and initiatives against these metrics.
Elevates the Product Owner practice and creates an inclusive and supportive team culture.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience driving leads, sales and other key metrics through digital channels (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop) while deploying strategies to improve overall site traffic and conversions.
Creating product distribution strategy, setting business targets, assessing performance against targets and identifying market and competitive opportunities to continuously grow the business.
Analytical and data driven with a relentless aim to uncover client insights and unmet needs to shape the direction of product roadmaps and validate solutions.
Experience leading product teams to deliver large, complex cross-functional projects and manage multiple dependencies.
Strong bias to action and the ability to set the tone for teams and stakeholders to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment.
Curiosity and a thirst for learning. You dig deep into any problem you encounter and have a keen ability to unveil what’s really important.
Discerning taste for what constitutes a great client experience.
Proven understanding of wealth management and financial product offering(s) and current processes for digital & assisted channel sales
Digital marketing experience supporting/leading work within the SEM/SEO, Display Ad and Affiliate marketing channels.
Strong understanding of how design, product and technology can work together to deliver high quality experiences quickly and at scale.
Proven people management skills with a strong ability to lead diverse teams and build bench strength through coaching and focus on talent development.
Superior impact and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and set the direction.
