The PXM is a PIM (Product Information Management) role in the Digital Business team which supports and enables the platform to accomplish Copeland and subsequent business objectives. It is the focal point for driving utilization and adoption of the Product Information Management (PIM) system, Salsify. It will coordinate with business owners to run, document, process, and govern tools and platforms related to the capability. This system is the source of truth for product information used on our website and in third-party channels. This role’s main purpose is to develop processes and systems that make accurate and comprehensive product information available to both internal teams and external customers, including retail platform syndication. The PXM Lead operates across our business units to drive the organization's product information strategy, ensuring that the product data supports business objectives, and will collaborate closely with multi-functional teams to drive the creation and maintenance of high-quality product information assets. They will be overseeing the maintenance, development, and operation of the PIM system, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating efficient data distribution across various channels. Collaborating with the Digital Capability Manager, this position will also work closely with other capabilities and functions including DAM Lead, Web Experience Lead, and Commerce Sales teams and Marketing teams. **As The Product Experience Management (PXM) Lead, You Will:** + Lead all aspects of the operation and maintenance of the Salsify PIM system, including configuration, data modeling, taxonomy development, and data governance. + Define and implement data quality standards, ensuring that product information is accurate, complete, and consistent across all platforms and channels. + Own the data integration features within the PIM to collect and share information with external systems, including DAM (digital asset management; Aprimo) system; CMS/Commerce (Content and Commerce in Optimizely); and TMS (Translation Management System). + Collaborate with IT and other groups as needed to integrate the PIM system with other enterprise systems to facilitate flawless data flow. + Develop and maintain a product taxonomy and classification system that enhances data organization and improves search ability. + Implement workflow automation processes within the PIM to streamline data entry, approval, and distribution. + Handle the syndication of product data to external channels, including e-commerce websites, marketplaces, and partners. + Apply data analytics tools and techniques to derive insights from product information, helping to find opportunities for improvement and optimization. + Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data security measures within the PIM system. + Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including sales teams, product managers, marketing teams, and IT to align PIM activities with business goals. + Provide mentorship and training on standard processes related to product data management. + Develop and deliver training for PIM system users and partners. + Capture feedback from various sources, including customers and internal teams, to continuously improve product information content and processes. Conducting regular audits of the PIM and brands to identify any inconsistencies or gaps in information. + Collaboration and relationship building to guide and drive adoption with our business owners. + Deep understanding of downstream impacts when data or structure changes in the system and how it manifests within each channel commerce page and impacts customer experience and journey. **Other** + Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills + Experience working with and collecting requirements from team members. + Excellent listening skills to understand and interpret customer responses. + Strong facilitation skills to lead requirements and user story sessions + Good interpersonal skills + Analytical skills to understand the health of the system and adjust system operation practices **Required Education, Experience & Skills:** + Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Analytics, or equivalent + Three to five (3-5) years of PIM system experience + Solid understanding of PIM, metadata, taxonomy, and SEO standard processes. + Prior experience with metadata input, coordinating large amounts of files, hi-res file transmissions (FTP, servers, etc.), file naming conventions, and database reporting. + Experience in leading Product information data internally. + Strong communications skills, including reading and writing in English. + Well-organized and highly structured individual, with the ability to give attention to detail. + Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to apply data in providing solutions and driving strategic business decisions. + Self-starter that can work independently and identify process improvements proactively. **Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:** + Three years of Salsify experience + One (1) year or more of experience in enterprise DAM (Aprimo ideal) + Experience or Trans Perfect/Global Link TMS implementation + Basic knowledge of Python, API Concepts, and JSON **St. Louis, MO** Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule.
