You will be a hands-on and involved key Operations team member to drive strategic initiatives while influencing cross-functional leaders. You are analytical, and you take a data-driven, and results-oriented to approach to decision-making. This position is responsible for (1) working with product teams to ideate new product opportunities, (2) take the agreed-upon ideas to turn into an action plan (with use of Veralto Enterprise System) with product, materials, and manufacturing teams, (3) own project management process of planning, sourcing, and delivery of new product development and VAVE initiatives, and (4) own process performance monitoring and improvement to continuously refine the product engineering engine. **THIS JOB IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO:** Design and develop products and their manufacturing/sourcing process. The primary job responsibilities are overseeing/leading the product’s transition from design (ideation) to product launch. This involves creating and testing product prototypes, sourcing materials, and new suppliers for the product. You will be responsible for forecasting and adhering to direct and indirect engineering costs, along with communication and coordination among project team members who are cross-functional (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.). **WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:** + Utilize tools in VES (Veralto Enterprise System) to lead and manage planning, coordination, execution of NPI projects + Support NPI ideation process (serve as a liaison between Product Mgmt and Operations) + Analyze feasibility, cost, and return on investment for product ideas + Work with product managers to develop product roadmaps and timelines + Coordinate prototype submissions with relevant personnel for approval + Identify/source suppliers or manufacturers to support NPI projects + Manage the budget requirements for projects (proposal, planning, and adherence) + Oversee assembly and ensure that products conform to market specifications and safety regulations + Collaborate with Materials Department to plan for initial global inventory requirements + Assist in cost reduction projects and implementation of new product changes + Champion change management of process and people via use of VES + Lead VA/VE initiatives + Other responsibilities as requested by Manager **WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO HAS:** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear messages and effective communications. + An ability to drive improvements and tracking planning success. + Desire to build and drive growth and willingness to disrupt the status quo. + Knowledge of product engineering + A problem-solving mindset. **OUR CORE VALUES:** We empower creativity and unconventional thinking to help us uncover breakthrough solutions and accelerate the pace of innovation. Apply today. **YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related fields + 5-10 years of experience in product engineering, operations, or supply chain + Strong Knowledge of Manufacturing principles, Supplier sourcing and Project Management + Results and process driven; possess excellent organization (written and oral), and presentation skills + Strong computer skills, specifically with EXCEL, database analysis, and experience working with ERP/MRP systems + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to assess and synthesise strategy from market intelligence **US ONLY** **:** The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
