The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are hiring a Product Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI!

As a Product Engineer (NPI), you will be effectively engaged in the New Product Introduction process of the reticle defect inspection product line. Main application will be within the semiconductor/electronics industry. The main job scope for this role is as follows:

Reduce program serviceability risk by acting as the Voice of Service throughout the Product Life Cycle (PLC) for new products by developing a service strategy that encompasses.Build technical system expertise on assigned subsystem and its diagnostics capability. Become a technical expert in the assigned subsystem's integration into the overall system with a hands-on approach and system engineering mindset.Influence design improvement and submit/track feature requests for diagnostics and serviceability. Collaborate and resolve technical problems during the new product life cycle.Contribute to the service alert meetings and Plan of Action (POA) development for critical issues and other sustaining activities. Capture and document Best Known Method (BKM) and other improvements into knowledge database.Support Alpha and Beta Systems, as well as Retrofit upgrades.Actively manage and support alpha & beta installs in-person by auditing procedures, updating existing documents, identifying training gaps, and solving unforeseen problems as they arise to drive continuous improvement for future installs and upgrades.Ability to work in clean room environment with clean room gear.Ability to travel domestic & foreign. <= 25%

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
