About the Engineering Team 

Engineering at Rejuvenation transforms product designs to manufacturable products.  Engineering partners closely with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Manufacturing to ensure that our products can be brought to market while maintaining the high quality and beautiful aesthetic that defines our brand. 

Overview of Product Engineer role  

You will have the opportunity to manage multiple lighting and hardware development projects as creator and manager of the technical specification, schedule, prototype builds, testing and manufacturing launch. 

 

Responsibilities 

Collaborate with Design and Product Management in the early stages of product development; provides feedback on manufacturability, estimated cost, UL requirements and form, fit and function  Develop models, drawings, procedures, and manufacturing instructions to support product development and production activities  Identify potential suppliers, collaborate with sourcing team, inspect samples and first production parts Create and maintain bills of material in ERP system  Coordinate prototyping and provide necessary documentation and instruction to support Production activities  Work on multiple new product projects under deadline; often working independently  Report on product development schedules and budgets Work with multiple teams to improve core product design for manufacturability, ease of assembly, and reduction of product cost  Collaborate with Inspection to improve product quality and inspection criteria, root cause defect analysis and facilitate the product improvement process 

Criteria 

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering 2 to 6 years of experience in new product development  Experience with spinning, stamping, forging and casting manufacturing processes  Experience with World Class Manufacturing/Lean/Toyota Production System principles, TPM, 6S Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Experience using Autodesk Inventor or other solid modeling software Proficient use of MS Office Products Ability to work onsite a minimum of 4 days and up to 5 days per week.
