Product Engineer Home Room Fluids
Position Summary

 Skilled Simulation Engineer who is responsible for modeling, analysis, and optimization of solenoid valves and fluid control systems
 Leverage advanced simulation tools to drive innovation in product design, performance validation, and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Simulation Development & Analysis:Conduct Multiphysics simulations (electromagnetic, fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, thermal management) for solenoid valves, hydraulic components and mechanical components.Model transient behaviors, fluid-structure interactions, and thermal effects using tools like ANSYS Maxwell/Fluent/Structure, GT, MATLAB/Simulink, AMEsim.Validate simulation results against experimental data and refine models for accuracy.Design Optimization:Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability of electromagnetic and hydraulic systems.Propose design modifications based on simulation insights to meet performance, DFM/DFA/VAVE cost, weight, durability targets, and DFMEA.Cross-functional CollaborationWork with design, product, testing, manufacturing, and controls engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of simulation outcomes into product development.Provide root-cause analysis via simulation method for open issue solving, field failures and prototype testing.Delivery model, documentation & reporting:Prepare technical reports, present findings to stakeholders, and maintain simulation workflows and best practicesWork with customers for simulation communication when required.Ensure all deliverables & timing are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders (including internal and external organization) .

Requirements / Qualifications

Master degree or PhD in automotive, electromagnetic systems (solenoid valves, actuators) and hydraulic/pneumatic fluid systems. (required)Proficiency in FEA, CFD, and Multiphysics simulation tools (e.g ANSYS Maxwell/Fluent/Structure, GT, MATLAB/Simulink, AMEsim).Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA) and industry standards (ISO, SAE)More than 5 years working experience (required)Excellent interpersonal skills (required)Excellent presentation skills (required)Problem solving skills (required)Applications engineering experience (required)Fluent English language proficiency (preferred)Excellent communication skills (preferred)Experience working with Automotive OEMs (preferred)Vehicle evaluation and test skills (preferred)
