As a product engineer, you play a vital role in assuring the quality and performance of TI's innovative IC products.
In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving.
**Responsibilities Include:**
+ Support development and implementation of strategies to achieve profitability targets on assigned product lines through new products development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects.
+ Responsible for all aspects of engineering activities associated with portfolio management.
+ Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time.
+ Work with production team for productivity, delivery and quality improvement.
+ ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test hardware and software.
+ Comprehensive device debugging, design validation and failure analysis.
+ Primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to assigned portfolio, including supply chain management, manufacturing, quality, customer service, sales and marketing, technical publications, document control, etc.
+ Take ownership for resolving customer quality and application issues on assigned product lines.
+ Lead and facilitate cross function teams for problem solving. This includes coordination activities with Product Engineers in other regions to achieve common goals.
+ Take leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving.

**Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field.
+ Fresh graduates to less than 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
+ Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.
**Preferred qualifications**
+ Knowledge in semiconductors and/or product/test engineering is added advantage.
+ Possesses understanding of electronics, circuit design and layout processes.
+ Some knowledge of statistics and tools to analyze large amounts of characterization data and determine and set production test limits and predict yield data.
+ Ability to work in a team setup comprising of other functional groups.
+ Position demands excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
+ Possess track record of effective problem-solving, good engineering judgment and decision-making skills.
+ Must be able to handle multiple priorities effectively.
+ Strongly driven to produce results in timely fashion and having strong sense of competitive urgency.
+ Must be willing to travel overseas for training and assignments.
