Here, you will make an impact by: + Leads and supports successful NPI programs through all phases with responsibility for Packaging Tape Value Stream + Implements packaging cost improvement projects across Cynthiana site, e.g. shipper consolidations, coordination of structure changes with corporate packaging engineering to drive plant productivity and materials cost reduction + Vendor management for packaging suppliers, responsible for Line Rejects, TQRDC process + Support sustainability and business supply chain projects and new product experiments, scale-ups and start-ups within the site + Lead and execute growth capital projects across the site Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution + Three (3) years of combined experience in manufacturing or product engineering in a private, public, government or military environment. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + Master's degree in engineering from an accredited institution + Five (5) years of manufacturing or product engineering in a private, public, government or military environment + Skills include adaptability to think on your feet and quickly resolve issues, ability to work and interact effectively with others, the ability to make informed decisions and tackle problems strategically. + Project management experience – demonstrated ability to oversee projects from start to finish Work location: On site Cynthiana, Kentucky Travel: May include up to 5% Domestic Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
