Product Development Manager

As a Product Development Manager on the Financial Health team, you will develop and enhance a suite of digital offerings that aim to improve the financial lives of older adults living with low-income. You will collaborate closely with Program Managers on key focus areas, such as reducing the burden of student loan debt or the financial strain of family caregiving, to deploy digital tools that help older adults make informed financial decisions. You will work in cross-functional teams to advance initiatives, leverage UX best practices and co-create with consumers to design relevant and impactful digital experiences. Responsibilities Contributes to the strategic direction and prioritization of digital products, leading cross functional product development teams, and aligning stakeholders around digital product plans. Manages the execution of initiatives from conception through delivery including gathering requirements and assets, developing project plans, user flows, functional specifications, and user stories while emphasizing overall project quality. Facilitates the architecting, development, deployment and support for all platforms. Guides and leads UX and works with designers to create a compelling and brand-aligned visual experiences. Assists with management and execution of digital product roadmaps to meet business goals. Follows release planning best practices to set and meet expectations throughout the entire product lifecycle, including communications to stakeholders. Develops and analyzes product KPIs and business metrics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Design, or related field. 5+ years website product management experience, with focus on user experience and website optimization. Proven experience writing technical requirements, managing vendor relationships, and tracking product metrics/KPIs. Experience with web analytics, A/B testing methodologies, and translating data into actionable requirements. Strong understanding of web best practices, accessibility standards, and performance optimization. Track record of collaborating with marketing teams while maintaining distinct product focus. Exceptional stakeholder communication and documentation skills, particularly in requirements writing and product roadmap development. Preferred: A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Agile, Scrum). AARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position at this time.
