This is a 10-week Summer Internship, with Full-Time Hours located on-site in Middletown, CT SUMMARY OF THE JOB: The Product Development Intern will support the development of the Product & Profitability team charter including product team functions, responsibilities, and team structure. The intern will meet with each team member to understand the scope and purpose of the role and build a team overview which will reside on our internal corporate website. This will be a collaborative function with our marketing partners who own and maintain the internal corporate website to determine how best to layout the page from a content design perspective. The Intern will also help collect product information and build a “fact sheet” – which products we want to offer, to which target market, and high-level details of the products. This is an opportunity to tell a story while enhancing PowerPoint presentation skills and meeting with various stakeholders to gather input and conduct reviews. Finally, the intern will have the opportunity to work alongside each of the functions within the Product Team – learning how product management roles help drive the future of the organization by creating, launching and maintaining products that customers love.
