Overview Hire Resolve’s client, a leading company in the food manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a Product Developer – Bakery to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape. Responsibilities Develop and upgrade innovative, cost-effective, and factory-oriented bakery products for the Paarl Main site. Drive and initiate profitable growth in allocated categories through product development and upgrades. Manage project critical paths in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches aligned with customer agreements. Deliver professional and engaging customer presentations that exceed expectations in quality, innovation, and documentation. Maintain clear, timely communication with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that NPD recipes and documentation are up-to-date and aligned with given timelines. Stay updated on local and global market trends to identify opportunities for business growth. Foster strong customer relationships through effective project management and multi-level communication. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Food Science/Technology, or a minimum 3-year Diploma in Advanced Culinary Arts or Food Preparation & Cooking. 1–5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong passion for baking (advantageous).
