As a Product Designer for eBay, you will develop innovative and user-centered experiences while developing strong collaborative relationships with our product and engineering partners. With a dedication to craft and the development of intuitive solutions, you will contribute interconnected and complex features that shape experiences for buyers and sellers on eBay.
What you will accomplish:
Help contribute to interconnected and complex features along the customer journey that contribute to outcomes determined by discipline leads
Work “end to end” — from identifying problems to delivering a full and complete product solution — delivering with efficiency and agility.
Understand business, customer and experience goals and challenges and be able to generate those into a well-rounded POV that balances technical and business constraints.
Independently builds optimal solutions that meet discipline standards and project goals.
Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional partners to rapidly produce inventive and thoughtful product experiences, ensure work meets requirements, and seek guidance at key moments.
Create user scenarios, journey maps, wireframes, Lo-Fi / Hi-Fi designs and prototypes throughout the full cycle of the product development process.
What you will bring:
3+ years of experience in interaction, product, or UX design.
Outstanding online portfolio that shows a broad range of interaction design work from native apps, web and desktop-based applications.
Experience using human centered design and design thinking to build scalable frameworks and strategies for projects end-to-end.
Experience using data and research to advise decision making and measure outcomes.
Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to present ideas concisely and persuasively to peers and leaders to solicit design feedback and gain alignment.
Expert in design and prototyping tools like Figma, and a “stickler” for clean, organized files.
