We are looking for a talented Product Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experienceExecute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineeringConceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocksCreate wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideasPresent and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholdersConduct user research and evaluate user feedbackEstablish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standardsDesign and prototype intuitive and engaging user interfaces for both mobile and desktop platformsMust have some demonstrable examples of mobile products / portals / websites

Requirements and skills

Experience with design and prototyping intuitive and engaging user interfaces for both mobile and desktop platformsMust have demonstrable examples of mobile products / portals / websitesSolid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site mapsProficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing toolsExcellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interactionAbility to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.Ability to solve problems creatively and effectivelyUp-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologiesBS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or relatedExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processProficiency in HTML and CSS would be useful

 

UI Designer responsibilities include:

Driving design excellence throughout the organizationBecoming an advocate and ambassador for UX process and outputCollaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experienceExecuting all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineeringConceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocksWorking with engineering to understand the limitations and implications of suggested solutions.  We strive for excellence but always need to factor in commercial realism
