Job Title: Product Design Engineer
Job Description

Our company designs, manufactures, and delivers thermal management solutions to customers in a variety of industrial equipment markets. We have an open engineering position on our Product Design Control team in Spokane, Washington. We are looking for a talented and motivated candidate to help lead design, production, and materials activities to expand and optimize our portfolio of available products.

ResponsibilitiesInitiate improvement activities to optimize product value, performance, and reliability.Lead engineering change management projects and processes.Actively participate in new product development activities.Manage product design documentation and business system data.Support sales staff and customers with product application, testing, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with manufacturing, materials, quality assurance, and IT teams to implement product and process improvements.Occasionally travel to visit customer facilities, vendors, and field-testing sites, both domestically and internationally.Essential SkillsBS in Mechanical Engineering2+ years of product design and/or development experienceProfessional experience and strong use of SolidWorksExcellent communicator and experience working in a cross-functional team environmentProject management skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsSelf-starter motivated to develop deep product expertise and play an active role in improvement activitiesDesire to learn and utilize new technology to solve complex technical problemsWillingness to participate in hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and prototype buildsWork Environment

Engineers have their own area to work in and will collaborate with other departments. The role is mainly in an office setting, but there will be some trips to the shop floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
