North America Product Demonstration Manager
Primary Purpose of Role:
The North America Product Demonstration Manager is responsible for specification, purchasing, logistics, demonstration, and upkeep of the Allison North America Marketing demonstration fleet. The primary focus of this person is to differentiate Allison products through demonstration of products and features vs. Allison competitors. Significant public speaking and product training is required. A solid technical background is also required. This person should also support tracking the results achieved through demonstrations and internal/external customer’s satisfaction level. The Regional Marketing Product Demo Manager will work closely with the marketing associates and the sales organization to implement customer events and demonstrations, on-site at Allison and remotely, as required.
This role is also responsible for maintaining the Allison Demonstration Track and all associated assets at that facility to ensure that the facility is always “at the ready” for hosting internal partners, as well as customers, dignitaries, (potential) investors, and the Allison Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all Allison product demonstration activities within the Region and support demo activities globally as required, including staged and Allison vs. Competitive product demonstrations.Ensure proper safety and evacuation plans are in place.Ensure expense and capital budget management.Ensure proper vehicle licensing and registrations.Support tradeshows and other marketing/sales events with vehicles and trade show trailer if required.Lead in specification and purchase of Marketing vehicles.Support Allison Ride & Drive global initiatives as required.Manage drive-away and transport companies and vehicle logistics.Manage Relations with local Service SuppliersSupport Allison personnel sales training and education related to demos and competitive products.Conduct competitive assessment of AMT and fully automatic transmissions to understand value, as well as competitive EV and electric hybrid offerings.Organize all activities associated with Allison Demonstration Track, including managing upkeep, maintenance of demo fleet and improvements of the Demonstration Track as required.Quarterly report about demonstrations and results achieved.Key Performance Measures:

This is a support role for the NA Marketing team. This person will be the primary person host customers and others at the Allison demonstration Track. This person will need to have extensive knowledge of Allison’s products, end markets, and customers. Person must be reliable and trustworthy to ensure the success of the overall team.
