SUMMARY\n

The Product Data Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining product data within the Product Lifecycle Management System, including feature and option data for various series. Key outcomes include ensuring compliance to data governance best practices, establishing data stewardship over product information, and collaborating with different departments to ensure efficient product change management. This role will also support the implementation of the PLM system, especially data migration, and contribute to other Product Development initiatives.\n

RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nCreate and maintain product data within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for consumption within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems\nManage Series, Models, Features, Options, and generic item data for a variety of home models and specifications\nSeek to understand current products, their business value, and ways of increasing efficiency\nEnsure high data quality meets the needs of Sales, Service, Accounting, and other downstream processes and systems\nCollaborate with Engineering, drafting, and costing departments to ensure all contributors are aligned on product changes\nManage Change requests process and workflow for product data changes ensuring timely routing & completion of high priority requests\nFollow Data Governance best practices when authoring and sharing data\nEnsure Data Stewardship and Compliance with Data Standards and Best Practices\nAssist on the implementation of the Product Lifecycle Management system, focusing on data migration \nEnsure business requirements and use cases related to product information are documented and tested as a part of the PLM system implementation project\nProvide backup for Product Simplification, SKU standardization, and other Product Development initiatives\nComplete other tasks as required to support the product lifecycle management implementation project and day-to-day operations\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBusiness\/Engineering\/Design Related 4 Year Degree or related experience preferred\nSales Admin, Home Configuration specialist, Cost Accounting, or other related professional experience in construction, homebuilding, building materials, business, design, engineering, etc. preferred.\nWillingness to travel up to 30%\n\n
