Job Responsibilities

Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.Supports the collection of user research, journey maps, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including volume, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.Defines and presents strategy for features, writes epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and participates in all agile events of the product group as a team member.Manages existing product features and actively leads the research, definition, and development of new features to advance the product roadmap.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area.Developing knowledge level of the product development life cycle.Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.Emerging knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-directed.Collaborative and a high level of comfort and effectiveness in coordination roles; working with multiple business and technology partners to drive transparency in project deliverables.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Strong understanding of US Mortgage drivers with some understanding of broader business context.Strong communication skills, both oral and written (able to effectively communicate/influence through various levels in the organization).Sharp analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Experience in product management focused on technology products is an advantage.
